The problem is that both the models as well as their respective animations are compiled altogether into a single set of .mdl files; meaning in order to play Episode 2, you would have to overwrite the current game's .mdl files with those from Episode 2, which causes sequences from Episode 1 and the original Half Life 2 campaign levels to break

Trying to move my game files onto a storage device to transfer to a new PC. Havnt beat half life 2 yet so I want to carry my download to my new PC. One thing though, I cant find my files. Within steam apps (C:\\Program Files\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Half-Life 2\\ep2) is just one folder, containing my save files. Where is the actual download though? Really need help.
