2007 Q7 4.2 TDI Loosing coolant and running cold – 27-11-2018, 08:46 PM. Hi, newbie so forgive me if this has already been done to death. I have a 2007 Q7 4.2 TDI. Love the car however there is this one niggle regarding the coolant. Since buying it (Oct) it has been steadily loosing coolant, at first it was an expansion tank per week. VFUITA.
