Not really, in gothic 1 and 2/2notr the best way to master one type of weapon is just spaming abiloties required for this type for example if u wanna go two handed weapons you go full strength and level the weapon it self. Once you have a bunch of strength crossbow is a good choice for a range combat.
The questions are pretty much answered but I can add a few things. You need to invest more LP in a skill if its level is high enough. 1 LP - until 30. 2 LP - 31-60. 3 LP - 61-90. 4 LP - 91+. per stat point. The best way is to train until you are very close to the threshold and then raise the stat by 5.
Here is a rough overview of how to skill your character in Gothic 2 if you want to become a mercenary and subsequently a Dragonhunter and focus on wielding two-handed weapons, as well as a bow. Your focus is going to be dexterity and the ultimate goal is going to be having a total of: 160 Dexterity. 94% Bow-skill. 160 Strength.

1. Leave Mud outside = kill him. I'm saying this, because one time, when I challenged Kirgo, Kharim was training in the Arena. We started the fight normally, but after I beat him up fair, Kharim attacked me. So I think this may be a bug. 2. While in the Arena, let Kirgo finish his "intro" before attacking you - you both need to be engaged in
The Zweihänder ( German pronunciation: [t͡svaɪhɛndɐ] ⓘ, literally "two-hander"), also Doppelhänder ("double-hander"), Beidhänder ("both-hander"), [1] Bihänder, or Bidenhänder, is a large two-handed sword that was used primarily during the 16th century. Zweihänder swords developed from the longswords of the Late Middle Ages and
Next run if you want to go 2-handed you should not invest a single point into 1-hand if you ask me. 1-Hand: faster, weapons dont do as much damage as 2-hand. 2-Hand: slower, weapons do more damage as 1-hand. In damage per second I cant tell you. I generally prefer 1-hand weapons because thats who I am in real life too.
Bergen. December 14, 2006. #2. In Gothic 1, ctrl was used for everything, so when picking something up/using something, hold ctrl and then press up. If you want to take something from a chest, use ctrl + right, and ctrl + left to take it back. To equip a weapon, use ctrl + up, as with any other item you want to use/interact with. Hope that helps.
