After cleaning my car I found the memory seat buttons did not work although the controls on the seat did fine. Like a good boy I checked the manual first total waste of time! Then I searched some other forums and found others with the same issue and how to fix.
There's a thermal fuse for all the power to the seat. If any of the powered seat adjustment is operating, it's not the fuse. More likely a problem with the switch or with the motor. Threads of motor issue come up from time to time. There's four motors: seat forward/backwards, seat up/down, seat tilt up/down, seat back forward/backwards.
Disconnect the power seat’s negative battery cable and set it aside. Remove the trim panel of the seat. Use screwdrivers to loosen the screws. Then pull the trim panel away from its cushion to release the remaining clips. Remove the screw from the switch panel using the screwdriver to remove the panel. There’s a recent update for MMI and a number of people lose seat memory and have to take it back in to get it re-programmed. Does your steering wheel move up and down with entry/exit of the vehicle? If your steering wheel moves and your seat does NOT then you likely have the issue. This is exactly what happened to me. The other thing you can do is to select the "Energy Consumption" display in the dash and it'll give you a high-level list of components that are consuming power. I've seen that list be empty and still had the engine stay running, though, so it's not comprehensive. Reply Like. # 10.

A6 / S6 (C6 Platform) Discussion - 2006 A6 seat heater not working - The 30A fuse was blown. When I replace the fuse, it blows again and smoke comes out of center console.

They did a great job and did my tail pipe tips too. Not the cheapest, but quality work. I'd find a sweet deal on eBay to pick up your wheels. With the extra 1/2" and the more aggressive offset, the wheels set about flush with the wheel wells. Almost like adding a 12-15mm spacer. :-) I'll look around for you. Who is your "indy" Audi guy.
