I took it to a shop to see what the problem was but my mechanic isn't very new into the computer driven cars now a days but he tried his best. What we found was that at idle the sensor for the turbo reads 14 Ibs of boost. when at idle, it should be negative because its a vacuum. We tried replacing the sensor but the new one read the same thing. Intermittent non-start issue, likely not TCM. I am having an intermittent start issue on 2013 Ford Focus, car is at dealership which so far has not found any cause and starts every time for them. Not a lot to go off of, but I wouldn't expect timing chain issues unless there is an extreme amount of kilometres, a history of maintenance neglect or botched work from some kind of major service. I would probably go to another shop to get a second opinion if it was me. MtnMan.
The manual transmission is probably a gear short (five-speed) but easy to use, and over time I've averaged between 7.5–8.0L/100km, with a best of 5.0L/100km on an 800km round trip.
